- MMMe MeSep 29, 20251.0Who decided to screw up the store? This new layout is absurd. I can find cookies in several different aisles. They have a chips/pretzels section that takes up about 20% of the store and I never see anyone in it. Candy takes up 25% of an aisle yet there is no sign telling you where it is located. It's so messed up that nobody in my family will shop here anymore. It takes 10x longer . It's not because it was redesigned and we aren't used to it, it's because the redesign is ridiculous. Someone was drunk when they came up with this plan. It makes NO SENSE and is incredibly awkward. Now Shop Rite has gotten more crowded, especially since Stop n' Shop raised their prices to charge us for the redesign. This store is so stupid they don't realize that Ocean State JobLot (next door) has some of the same items for half the price!!! The store is fairly empty these days. I predict it will close within the next 2 years. One more thing...they are ALWAYS OUT OF STOCK and when you ask the staff, nobody knows why!!
