The guy said I have to get the manager. Manager came over and the guy said this lady wants butter. The manager says “we don’t give butter except for bagels” He said “it’s too expensive.” So after paying for $35 worth of food, he didn’t wanna give me any butter for my bread. Hence the name change. I’m talking about Panera in Nanuet. You can go to Woodcliff Lake and they’ll give you all the butter you want. It’s so funny. But also sad. You can call me Karen, but if you wanna eat Panera, go to Bergen County. PS I never give negative reviews but this was just wrong on every level.

This place is an absolute disgrace and deserves a badge for being the single worst Panera Bread location I have ever experienced. Because our time was always limited, we used the mobile app to order ahead. However, our orders were constantly wrong or had items missing. On one occasion, we found bacon in a vegetarian salad. The worst incident was when an order wasn't even prepared. When we asked about it, we showed the staff the complete, confirmed order on the app—proof of purchase, the order number, the location, and all the items—and we still couldn't get our food. At this location, you literally have to beg like a beggar to get the items you already paid for, even when everything is clearly printed on the receipt. It's completely unacceptable.

Maybe a little retraining for the staff (and manager) would go a long way.
