Don't want this to sound like a shitpost, because we love Domino's and order pizza from this location all the time. Sadly, the wings we bought tonight were some of the nastiest wings we've ever had. About 8 out of 32 were eaten, the rest are headed to a landfill very soon. Of the 32, 8 were eaten and will probably cause food poisoning in the very near future.
Let's go over the order:
We bought a pepperoni cheesy bread and a 32 piece Hot Buffalo Wings (bone-in). Had them delivered. Total cost including cash tip at delivery: about $40.00.
The pepperoni cheesy bread was phenomenal. 10/10, would definitely order again.
The Hot Buffalo Wings were disgusting. 0/10, will never order wings from any Domino's location ever again. If I could give a grade lower then zero, I would.
-For comparison, the hot buffalo sauce is probably more mild then Taco Bell's mild sauce. I get it, mild taco sauce is different then wing sauce, but the spiciness of the Domino's Hot Wing sauce is just not working out. Most pizza places normally put the wings in a bowl, add the sauce and flip the wings to cover them with sauce. Domino's drizzles wing sauce over the wings.
-The flavor of the chicken is what caused me to gag. They barely had any flavor, tasted like eating mush, and the wings were not crispy at all. It literally was like eating flavorless mush. I'd hate to witness how bad their Plain wings are.
The description of this menu item on their website states, "Marinated and oven-baked, then smothered in hot buffalo sauce. Customize with your choice of dipping cup."
-The wings were not smothered in sauce, so that mark was clearly missed.
-And the "customize with your choice of dipping cup" makes it sound like a dipping cup or two (based on order size) should be included with the item, but its not. The reason this irked me is because on the pepperoni cheesy bread I ordered, the description of the menu item includes "Add marinara or your favorite dipping cup for an additional charge." On the wings menu description, it does not inform of "an additional charge". A bit misleading.
Bottom line is Domino's should just stick with pizza, breads, and every other menu item that is not chicken. If anyone from Domino's wants to swing by and give them a try themselves, I'd welcome you to, but unfortunately I don't want to be liable for food poisoning so they're headed to the trash. Although I did attach photos, so you can at least see how disgusting they look.
As for me, learned my lesson. If I want delicious, and actually spicy chicken wings, I gotta go to an independent/local pizza place.
Edit: The 20% off my future menu-priced order offer they gave me when I reported this issue on the website hardly makes up for the amount of money I gave you folks.
