I order 15-20 minutes before I get there and it’s never ready. The guy working late night/early morning always says they’re closed for cleaning while he’s outside on the phone. Until he realizes I already ordered. THEN he starts to make it. This happens EVERY. TIME. This last time the store smelled like dirty armpits. He sloppily makes the sandwich, while still on the phone. I’d rather not eat than deal with this place or this guy again.

Guy behind the counter was also trying to rip me off when I purchased the food. Paid via the app which included an up-charge for a bottle of iced tea. When I picked up the order he tried to give me a fountain soda and then argued with me that I needed to pay $2 cash for a bottle of iced tea. Never again.

The menu is always fresh and full of options from classic subs and wraps to healthy salads and delicious cookies, there’s truly something for everyone. But what really sets this location apart is the amazing customer service from the management and staff. Every time I walk in, I’m greeted with a smile and treated like family. They always remember my usual order and often surprise me with little freebies, like a cookie or a drink, which makes my day. I’m especially impressed by how fast they are—on my lunch break, they had my sandwich ready in literally 120 seconds! The team here is efficient, friendly, and genuinely cares about their customers’ experience. Thank you so much to everyone at Subway Astoria for making each visit a pleasure. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
