Always treated well here; the service is friendly and prompt, the food is great, and even when it's busy it doesn't really feel busy, you know? Recommended.

I’ve given this location of Five Guys more chances than it deserves because my family genuinely likes the food. Unfortunately, the service has become consistently frustrating.
Every time I order ahead, I still end up waiting an unreasonable amount of time after arriving. It often feels like online orders are ignored until the customer physically shows up. Meanwhile, employees stand around chatting while orders fall through the cracks and the kitchen falls behind when it really shouldn’t.
One of the most frustrating parts is the complete lack of communication. Workers avoid even looking at the group of people standing in the pickup area. No one asks for names, gives updates, or checks on orders. Customers are left wondering whether their food has even been started.
I’ve also seen employees making food for themselves during busy dinner rushes while 10+ paying customers are waiting on orders. Breaks are obviously fine and necessary, but here “breaks” often seem to mean hanging around the kitchen talking with coworkers. It’s no surprise that orders get lost, made incorrectly, or delayed.
On two occasions I tried to ask a simple question about my order and was told, “I’m on break right now, you’ll have to ask someone else.” That kind of response pretty much sums up the attitude toward customers at this location.
Another uncomfortable thing I’ve witnessed multiple times is how some employees treat the woman handling milkshakes and the register. I’ve seen coworkers bark orders at her and blame her for mistakes that clearly weren’t hers. It creates an awkward environment for both staff and customers.
I rarely complain about restaurant service because I know how difficult and thankless those jobs can be. But what customers deal with at this location is genuinely excessive. The food is good, but the management of this store clearly isn’t.
Until something changes, ordering here just isn’t worth the frustration.

The audacity to turn off mobile ordering the one day you offer a promotion is insane. Greedy decisions!

Would you eat this? All I wanted was a NOT burned grilled cheese and got my takeout order home to find this was my dinner. Epic fail! I would give negative stars if I could!
What is the Five Guys story/How did you guys get your name?
Five Guys began its pursuit to redefine the global burger landscape in 1986 when Jerry and Janie Murrell asked three of their sons whether they wanted to start a business or go to college. Now, three decades after our first location opened in Arlington, Va., Five Guys – a fast-casual restaurant chain named for the Murrells' five sons – serves a classic take on hamburgers, fries and milkshakes in more than 1,700 locations across 24 countries.

How many restaurants does Five Guys have?
As of January 2026, we have more than 1,900 locations in over 24 countries!
Does Five Guys offer delivery?
Most North American locations offer delivery. The best way to find out if the location nearest to you offers delivery is to visit our website or download the app.
Additionally, we work with all major third-party delivery companies in the U.S., including DoorDash and Uber, so feel free to search for Five Guys through their platforms!
Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.
While our crew members do all they can to avoid it, there is always a risk of cross-contamination. Please review our nutritional, ingredient and allergen chart for the most accurate information.
Why does Five Guys have peanuts for free?
Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
What is the best way to reheat leftover fries?
Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
Why is Five Guys switching from a fry cup to a fry bag?
We are switching to fry bags to ensure your fries stay fresher and as part of our larger commitment to the environment. The bags allow air to circulate better, so fries stay fresh during delivery and takeout. Same portions, same great fries – just smarter packaging that’s also better for the environment.
