- SFS FJul 19, 20252.0The pharmacy tried charging me almost $14 for over the counter Vitamin D, which I had a script for. The guy in the pharmacy was short and rude with me. I politely explained I never paid for it at CVS (maybe $1 maximum), but he only suggested it may be because Kinney's doesn't have some sort of "prescription plan" CVS has, and stated it may be because the insurance company could have changed their policy. Well, I literally just got a script filled a few months ago at CVS (no insurance changes policy in April...). He could care less. Nevermind that I Really need it (and a single mom on a fixed income). I will go elsewhere. Thanks for the lack of empathy and effort. He may have looked up at me once the entire conversation. He was also short over the phone when I called- almost sounded upset as he told me it had been put back on the shelf. I have never been treated like this trying to get my medicine from Anywhere. The girl at the register was nice. But he really shouldn't be dealing with the public. Treating people like less than.
