  Gloria in the bakery did an amazing job on a cake I needed for a baby shower. I had a picture of the cake and a few other bakers refused because of the complexity. Not only did Gloria nail it but she was so nice and I really appreciate it! Thanks Gloria!!!!

  They are fabulous… the store is fully stocked, employees are Curtis and helpful! And the store was open today, Thanksgiving day for small emergencies!!! Thank you thank you

  A food retailer not worth your business. In the middle of my transaction, on a weekday morning at self-checkout, the attendant shouldered me aside and inserted a card into the card reader. For all I know, it could of been a skimming device - not unknown to be discovered in supermarkets and other retailers. Employee fraud and theft is no stranger to retail. Distressed, I later called and spoke to the hag service manager, Josephine, who tried to fob me off about some sort of check, spoke over me and told me abruptly she'll have a word with the attendant. Yeah, right. Seemed service manager Josephine could care less and addressed me as if I was the one at fault. I ended the conversation very dissatisfied with Josephine's abrassive, unempathetic and inappropriate attitude. Now I know why this store has such a poor reputation. Will be taking my business to Shoprite, Aldi, Lidl, or another nearby competitor in the future and recommend others do as well. With so many food retailers nearby, you'd think that the employees would go that extra mile. Not so. Was a long-time customer, but don't count on seeing me again soon. Sad that this Stop & Shop branch hires only those who are clearly so unsuitable and incompetent. Josehine would do well to learn the meaning of empathy.

  went to pick up vitamin water 3 times didn't have it explained it ti customer service the kid was very nice wanted to give me 2 rain checks then the manager out of nowhere got involved and said no he was trying to do the right thing ( he should be the manager not her) it seems they never have things when they're on sale so i went to shop rite and picked up everything. i would never go there again i advise go to shoprite they are so much nicer

  Their deli workers do not listen and are careless. You spend good money and order your cold cuts sliced thin. Then you end up getting chunks of meat. When you get home and are about to make a sandwich it is so disappointing to open up the package of cold cuts like ham and turkey and see inedible chunks. I used to work at Waldbaum's deli and I know why they avoid slicing it thin. The lazier workers don't feel like cutting the cold cuts thin because the thicker the cut, the less they have to move their arms back and forth on the slicer. I always knew "thin" meant "thin" when I used to serve my customers. Even if you tell them to shave it, you get inedible chunks. I can no loner utilize the store pick up, grocery delivery or kiosk because I have to micro manage these lazy workers to ask to actually see the first slice they cut now. I hope the store managers see this and have a chat with them. I will go to a real Italian deli to get my cold cuts for now on. When I go to mom and pop delis, they actually slice it nice and thin without me having to watch them.
