Johnson City Location....I stopped in for lunch with a coworker. I sat down with my lunch and went to start with my salad when I noticed a small piece of hair in the salad bowl. At first, I thought it was a blemish scratch on the dish, but I took it back to the counter. Two of the female workers looked at it, then sat in down and went to make another salad. It took a few minutes to get the new salad. So I go and sat back down and I looked at my sandwich and there was a long black hair in it. Gross. So I went back up to the counter and showed the worker. She was unfazed and could care less. Snapped when asking me if there was any modification of the order to make a new one. Which I told her no onions. It took forever for a new sandwich. While I was waiting, I noticed one female worker was wearing a winter knit hat with her long black hair hanging down as she was slicing rolls. I noticed every other worker had their hair up in a pony tail or bun, but not her. When the shift manager came over my way. I said to her, your worker needs to put her hair up as it was in my food. She looked toward the worker and went back to what she was doing. Then eventually told her to put hair up. The worker on a few occasions adjusted her hair with her hands. They eventually gave me another sandwich. Which I checked over carefully afterwards. The experience made it difficult to enjoy lunch and even my coworker was turned off with his food by this point. The part that bothered me the most was how they were not very apologetic or even concerned. I went back up to ask for the first name of the shift manager , the snappy girl expediting the orders and the girl with the winter cap and black hair. None of the staff were wearing name tags. The shift manager said she would not provide first names as I planned on contacting corporate. They were all just very rude. I've worked in fast food and how they handled this was very poorly done. Avoid this place and go to Vestal location instead. When you spend $18.00 on a meal, you should expect good service and food without hair.

I got food poisoning from this Panera. I got an avocado melt and a chicken soup. I feel bad the guy that served me was super sweet but this place is a walking food Bourne illness station.

So after a long day of work, I popped over here to pick up a sandwich and salad to enjoy for dinner. I ordered the smokehouse barbecue chicken half sandwich. The young man said they were out of barbecue sauce I said that was fine I still wanted the sandwich. When I arrived home all I had were these few pieces of chicken and three onions on it and nothing else. I'm very disappointed.

I usually love Panera for the cozy vibe and quick service. This one always feels like staff is on an extended coffee break. Also lacking the usual warmth of Panera interiors with fireplaces.
