  I went in as usual to purchase an island green detox smoothie. On every other day the service is great. Everyone greets and smiles. Today March 26 2026 Team Lead Kimora took my order. She goes on to clean the countertops before making the order. Without washing her hands she proceeds to pick up the blender to make my order. I asked her to wash her hands and she clearly states - "I just touched sanitizing water". I said it doesnt matter. She had a whole fit and attitude and refused to refund me my money. After all the back and forth and calling police, I got my refund. She clearly told me customer service doesnt matter. I actually like their products but it takes only one person to ruin it all. Another worker there was a big peacemaker and deserves a raise or something.

  They are working so hard in here and with the increase in customers in the area, I think maybe they can add a few more workers during certain shifts to keep the pace that they are able to maintain with 3 during happy hour.

  I recently visited Tropical Smoothie Cafe, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing the second time around. My first visit in the morning was great—everything was on point, quick, and enjoyable. That’s actually what made me come back again expecting the same level of service. However, my second visit was completely different. I went in alone to order a salad and a chia oatmeal bowl, and I had to wait about 15 minutes just for someone to come and take my order. When the employee finally came to the register, she seemed distracted and wasn’t even paying proper attention to what I was ordering. After that, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes just to receive my food. The overall experience felt disorganized and frustrating. I genuinely thought this was a great spot for healthy, enjoyable meals, but my second visit changed my perspective completely. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. Customer service was extremely poor—honestly a 0/10.

  I love tropical smoothie Cafe and have been to several different locations. I was excited to see this one when I was traveling and walked from my hotel. When I got inside, I was pretty surprised to see a man sitting at the counter, smoking a joint. I decided to order anyway. 😬 Never got a chance. The cashier and a customer got into a screaming match for several minutes until I finally decided it wasn't worth it to try to get food and left.
