What this little treasure of a restaurant might lack in charm it makes up in the excellent, honest, fresh, delicious Sicilian food it offers. Dannie, one of the owners, served the four of us and her daily trip from the Bronx was well worth our wait. All appetizers and entrees were fresh and tasty, prepared with the best ingredients. We were so impressed with her attitude and experience. With the addition of tablecloths and candles this restaurant would be a very special experience. Pricing is affordable, pasta is exemplary, and don’t ask for the check before ordering the pistachio gelato and or the tiramisu. Excellent 🙏

Seriously, my kids don’t like pasta - that’s almost a personal insult to Italy. She probably sighed somewhere and turned away)))
But okay. We don’t give up after the first try.
We tried again. And… 💣🔥🔥🔥
And suddenly… today it worked.
No convincing, no “eat it for mom.” They just ate. And even with interest.
The Italians in us are still asleep. Somewhere deep, next to the love for pizza and a beautiful life. But we’re getting there)))
The main thing is not to scare them away 😅
P.S. The compliment from the place - ice cream 🍨 - was such a nice surprise. It was absolutely delicious 👌🩷

Just say yes!!! This restaurant is awesome and the owner Danielle Berarducci was beyond wonderful. My son is in the ICU at a nearby hospital and we received a distressing call just after sitting down for dinner. She treated us with tremendous kindness and showed great empathy for our situation. Danielle comes from Naples, Italy and it shows in her food. Incredibly authentic Italian cuisine with homemade fresh pasta. I had the Short Rib Rigatoni and my wife and her friend shared the Tagliatelle Bolognese with Ricotta Cheese plus a Caesar Salad. Everything was perfect. Best Caesar I've had, homemade dressing. These are the kind of small business that we must support. We can't wait to take our son when he gets out of the hospital! Don't miss out if in the area and it's worth driving at least an hour to get to.
