- TBTea BerkeleyDec 14, 20251.0Ordered 3 bowls yesterday. Food was so salty, it was inedible. I’m a frequent Chipotle customer. Someone 10x-ed the salt or just didn’t mix it. I had to toss all 3 bowls. It’s a 20 min drive each way, so not worth returning the food. Had some good orders from here, too, so this is a quality control issue. (Minor comments: lettuce goes on top of the cheese, not the other way around; and please don’t wrap two tortillas in one sheet of aluminum foil - they are obviously for two different people and impossible to separate - 3 bowls and 3 tortillas on the side, so each tortilla should be wrapped separately.) Not ordering here again. One star for atmosphere, bc this is takeout only, which is lame. Above issues could be avoided if one could eat at the restaurant. PS: another review suggests the salt sabotaged was done because I didn’t tip - I’m a generous tipper at restaurants but tired of tipping for self-service food. If this is true, Chipotle (or the health department) needs to step in and shut this place down, especially when food for kids is involved!!
