I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was frustrating enough that I feel the need to be honest.
This was supposed to be a beautiful date night for us, and we were really hoping this would become our spot but the service completely missed the mark.
From the moment we walked in, the service was disorganized. The lovely hostess told us we could sit anywhere at the bar, only for another staff member to immediately contradict that and ramble about not being sure because a group of the owner’s friends might sit there (TMI). We were left awkwardly figuring it out ourselves.
Once seated, things didn’t improve. We waited extended periods just to have our plates cleared and had to repeatedly flag down our server, Hailee, for our next order. She would disappear, and we’d be left waiting again with no updates. Eventually, the wait for our next dish was so long that we asked to have it packed to go. and even that had to be requested twice. We were able to enjoy one dish !!
At a bar, you expect attentive, efficient service—people who are aware, proactive, and engaged. Instead, it felt slow, inattentive, and uncoordinated. We even had to wait an additional 10 minutes just to pay the bill.
Hailee was pleasant, but not suited for a bar role where speed and awareness are key. Unfortunately, the service completely took away from what should have been a great night out.
The only redeeming factor was the food especially the lamb chops, which were absolutely delicious. Even the duck we took home was juicy and flavorful.
Great kitchen, but the front of house experience needs serious improvement. ;/
Great happy hour vibe! We met two other couples for cocktails and appetizers to celebrate a birthday. The bartenders were engaging and offered great service and suggestions. We tried a variety of appetizers, cocktails and enjoyed wine from their well curated wine list. Will definitely return soon!

Ever had a pork chop so good you forget to take the picture first? Yeah… that happened here.

Let’s talk about that Butcher Block Pork Chop… cooked absolutely perfect. Juicy, flavorful, and done exactly how you want it. But the real sleeper here? That hot cherry pepper sauce—it cuts right through the richness with just the right amount of acidity. Balance was on point.
We kicked things off with the Short Rib egg rolls—and these weren’t your average appetizer. Two big rolls, sliced up, served with a yellow aji aioli that had this horseradish-honey-mustard vibe. Little heat, big flavor. Might not be textbook… but it worked.
Pulled up with 3 guys, no reservation, and somehow lucked into a table between bookings. Staff was super accommodating, no attitude, no rush. While we waited, the bartender kept things moving—grabbed a blueberry seltzer-type drink that was 🔥.
The vibe? Modern, dim lighting, big tables. Works for date night or just a solid dinner with the boys.
📝 The Real Deal:
Food: 4.7 ⭐
Atmosphere: 5 ⭐
Service: 5 ⭐
⚠️ Pro Tip:
Make a reservation. We got lucky. If not, bar seating might clutch it out—but don’t bank on it.
Pss. The photo was taken after I had been eating and realized I forgot the photo. There was alot more there to start with. The conversation and atmosphere almost made me forget!
