  Friendly staff, quick service, really yummy grilled chicken, lemon rice was delicious. I did not dine in, food was packaged nicely. I think the cucumbers could be sliced thinner. Green Goddess dressing was delicious! I will come back again.

  Highly recommend. I used the app to place a pickup order which was super easy to use and my food was ready by the time I arrived. I ordered the Street Pita which was phenomenal and it did not disappoint, very generous with the protein. Great menu and the lunch specials look really good also. Super nice staff and overall a clean establishment. Will definitely be back!!

  This was my second time at Kalamaki the latest incarnation of the spot previously known as Pete the Greek on Motor Parkway in Hauppauge. My first experience was on a whim as I drove by, stopped in around 1pm and there were people sitting at 3 of the tables. I ordered one of their lunch specials which are $16.95 for an entree, side & a beverage. I got the spinach pie / salad combo. The spinach pie was a very generous portion and while small the salad was fresh. I thought the Greek vinagrette was not bad but reminded me of a commercial dressing, not sure if it's house made. There are 6 different specials to choose from, not a bad lunch deal The second time I used their ordering app which was easy to navigate and got me a $5 discount. I'll say upfront I don't like when restaurants preload a tip which this app did, you can change or take it off. I got the kalamaki 3 pack of skewers, there is a choice of chicken, pork or sausage. I got 2 chicken, 1 pork. The chicken was very good, nice big pieces of juicy well seasoned chunks of white meat chicken. Wish I had tried the sausage as the pork was almost inedible. Very tiny pieces that were way overcooked, chewy and had almost no flavor. It's $18 for the three with sauce and pita, you save $.95 each from ordering per piece. I also got a small Greek salad, which you can make adjustments to if you want. All the ingredients were fresh and also came with pita and choice of dressing. There are several other things I'd like to try and will go back. If you're in the area give it a try

  We had friends over who had a baby so we had our food delivered. It was so convenient to order and pay online. There are pictures of each dish which helped with ordering. We ordered a sampling of many things: spanakopita, halloumi sticks, street pita with beef and lamb gyro, chicken yeero, Greek salad, hummus, & lemon potatoes. My friends and I were so delighted that each bite we took was better than the next! Everything was delicious. Will definitely be eating at Kalamaki again!

  Gave this place a try after bad experiences with the former business (Pete’s). Love the rebrand and remodel. Very clean restaurant and exceptional customer service from the manager. The food was very fresh and generous. My only two issues/suggestions is to give less sides (rice and potatoes) for the platter so more meat can be included (especially for the price) and to cut the gyro fresh since it was pre cut and dried out. The salad was delicious and so were the sauces. Give this place a try!
