I looked online it stated that there was no wheat/gluten in them so I went in person to verify if it was actually celiac safe. I was extremely upset with my in person interaction. They weren’t necessarily rude but they clearly had no clue what I was talking about. They said that the fries were not gluten free but I feel like they may have said that because they weren’t really understating the topic. I asked to speak to someone else who might know but they just looked confused and asked someone behind them who said no. I am not sure if I was speaking to a manager but I wasn’t really comfortable asking because they seemed really put off and not interested in helping when I asked. Again they weren’t mean but they were not budging to help me in any way :/ From a Celiac girl, can I please get an answer if these fries are actually gluten free and maybe I’ll come back…all though I fear if I asked them to change their gloves to scoop/handle the fries they might flip out.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
