Our mission will always be to serve classic Mexican dishes prepared with the sophistication of a fine dining restaurant in a casual and approachable manner.
Tocolo Cantina serves refined, modern Mexican food in a friendly, high-service, and casual atmosphere. The restaurant space was designed to merge the modern elements of a California eatery with those of a Mexican cantina to create a warm and inviting feel. It is fit with encaustic tile, copper walls, a lively bar in the center of the room, and a hydraulic garage door that forms an outdoor canopy when opened. We aim to provide the best Modern Mexican dining experience on Long Island.
Our menu incorporates both traditional Mexican fare and our own modern interpretations of customary dishes. The menu’s mix of small and large plates, as well as its two large communal dining tables, hopes to inspire long celebrations over food.
Since no great cantina is complete without a lively bar and lofty cocktail program, Tocolo Cantina promises to deliver the best margaritas and sangrias around. The bar offers delicious specialty drinks, as well as a large selection of premium tequilas and mezcals.

The reason I’m giving a 1 star right now is because they used my phone number that I provided for COVID CONTACT TRACING to spam me with discounts for the restaurant. That’s not the reason I provided my phone number and while it may be a minor inconvenience and you can unsubscribe, it concerns me that they may use my information for other purposes such as selling to third parties. It also comes across as a bit dishonest. I’ve visited a decent number of other restaurants and provided my number for contact tracing but have never received advertisements from any other place. Edit in response to business’ reply: While I appreciate your quick response to my review I hope you understand that it is not about the “inconvenience”; you’re missing the point. The issue I have is that you are basically exploiting the information you collect for Covid and using it for marketing purposes, which I find highly unethical and really leaves a bad taste in my mouth, especially during these times. Thank you.

- SFSteve FordMay 20, 20184.0This place doesn't feel authentic, as the decor is a bit modern. The food also is a blend of authentic and modern. Don't get me wrong though, the food is pretty good! Come check this place out for a nice semi formal night out. Try the guacamole!
