  Recently dined here in their private dining room. The appetizer were delicious, we had calamari and cornmeal crusted artichoke hearts as well as a grand meat/cheese board and lobster ravioli. For the main course I had the New York strip, which was a bit tough to chew, my colleagues that had the salmon said it was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service for the private party was excellent but they did pile on plates rather than clearing them from the table as the food came in. Just of note, the music and the noise from the bar made it difficult to speak to people around the table. Overall I would recommend this restaurant especially for their delicious appetizers.

  Food is good and atmosphere is fun usually come here for birthday or a fun date definitely recommend ! Great pizzas and Great wine perfect balance

  First timer- will definitely be coming back. Everything was delicious and good service. Had the mussels, Bolognese, and Nutella cream brulee amazing. Don’t understand why bread in a paper bag though, doesn’t fit the vibe.

  We went on Friday 2/20 originally for a nice, quiet dinner. We got to the restaurant around 10:30p to booming not realizing that it was late night hours and the main kitchen was closed. We still stayed for the late night menu for some drinks, a meet/cheese board & a pizza which were good. One of the selling points that got us to stay was the random DJ that had everyone from our side of the restaurant vibing to his mixing. If any of the staff from Novita reads this, can you respond with the name of the DJ that was playing that Friday 2/20? he was really good hahahaha

  We went to Novitá in Garden City for date night and had a really nice experience overall. The baked clams were okay and the meatballs were good but not amazing, while the pappardelle with lobster and the pan-seared scallops specials were both solid dishes with quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. The service was attentive and professional, and the modern Italian atmosphere makes Novitá a great spot in Garden City for a date night or special evening out.
