Our company recently hosted a work event at Revel Garden City and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The restaurant provided a professional yet welcoming atmosphere.
The staff was highly attentive, organized, and accommodating throughout the event. From the initial planning stages with Francine to the day of the gathering, communication was perfect . During the event, servers were prompt, courteous, and mindful of our schedule.
The layout of the space was perfect for a business function. Noise levels were comfortable, making it easy for guests to converse without distraction.
Cleanliness and attention to detail were amazing.
Overall, Revel exceeded expectations and we look forward to hosting future events here.

Revel in Garden City is the place to be on a weekend night. We went on a Friday and the place was packed with beautiful people and great energy. The DJ played a perfect mix that kept everyone dancing while still allowing us to enjoy our delicious entrees. I highly recommend the eggplant chips and the salmon—both were outstanding.
Even though the place was busy, the service never missed a beat. We sat at the bar, and the bartenders were friendly, engaging, and attentive all night—constantly refilling our waters and checking in on us. Prices are standard for Garden City and absolutely worth it. The holiday cocktails were a big hit with our group. I promise you won’t be disappointed. See you soon, Revel!

I had my birthday dinner here and it was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The food was delicious and the vibes were great. The atmosphere was just perfect for a celebration. I had the skirt steak with truffle fries and it was mouth watering. The drinks were on point. But the highlight of our experience was the staff. From the moment you enter you are welcomed with warmth. The service was attentive and kind. A special thanks to the best duo sisters Alexa and Carolina for making our night perfect and memorable. Even the general manager checked on our table a few times throughout the night. Everyone in my group loved their meals and we left happy and satisfied. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning.

Went here for a new years dinner with my husband. Despite making a reservation, we were seated by the door and we had to ask the waitress to Move tables because there was a cold draft coming through the waitress told us that we needed to order everything at once, including dessert. It felt almost as if we were rushed and being dismissed our water was never refilled. and our waitress scene to just want us to leave urgently our waitress was so closed off and dead that we didn’t even catch her name. We just remember that she was blonde and serious and seemed annoyed. We spent so much money at this restaurant just to have terrible service. The food overall was good but I would not return here again. and the crazy part is there’s already a 20% gratuity added to the bill which shows why the waitress was being so rude. She was gonna be tipped either way. i’m disappointed because my husband is in the Navy and we only see each other a few times a year And this was one of the nights and it was just a terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend Revel to anybody, especially if you’re a person of color.

I had an extremely unpleasant and unsettling experience at Revel Restaurant in Garden City, NY.
I am a returning customer, and in the past, even when private events were taking place, regular diners were seated in another section. Today, I walked in and noticed there was a holiday party happening. There were no clearly visible signs at the entrance indicating the restaurant was closed for a private event. Although Francine, who appeared to be the owner, later stated there was a sign on the door, it was clearly not visible—something she herself confirmed by saying another person had entered the same way before me.
When I asked if there was availability for two, she said there wasn’t, which I accepted and prepared to leave. At that point, Francine insisted that I could not exit through the same entrance I originally came in through and demanded that I leave through a different exit instead. This was problematic because I had a guest waiting for me at the original entrance. If I had exited through the door she was insisting on, I would have been forced to walk down the block and around the corner just to return to my guest. This was unnecessary and made no sense.
She justified this by stating that they had a $1,500 client hosting the holiday party. However, if that were the case, proper precautions should have been taken—such as having staff stationed at the entrance to direct people appropriately—especially since the signage was clearly ineffective.
Instead of handling the situation professionally, Francine became confrontational and physically attempted to block me from leaving, even placing her hand on my arm after I told her she could not touch me. This behavior was completely inappropriate and unacceptable.
What made the experience even more disturbing was that the interaction left me feeling singled out and uncomfortable in a way that felt discriminatory and racially biased. No customer should ever be physically handled, prevented from leaving, or made to feel unsafe or targeted under any circumstances.
I will not be returning. I also have personal and professional connections with individuals who work closely with NYU on events held at this venue, and I will be making them aware of the treatment I received. I hope accountability is taken so no one else has to experience this.
