  Went there last night with my friend and we got two bowls. I was so disappointed in the quality of the food compared to what I’m usually used to having from them. I got the surf and turf bowl. The shrimp is literally sitting in a container full of liquid and it’s now basically boiled shrimp with zero flavor or visual appeal. Much different than the picture they portray which has it appearing to be covered in seasoning not just bland water that continues to cook then and turn them into little rubber bullets. Now to the beans. I got black beans because the liquid on the pinto beans was literally clear like water Aka we opened a can and dumped it in. The black beans unfortunately had the same flavor profile as the pinto beans I was afraid to try. Just beans out of a can with no seasonings or flavors to be found at all. I could not even finish my bowl and left disappointed. I understand everyone has off days but this is a clear reflection of management not caring about the quality and consistency the kitchen puts out. I’d say a simple tip would be to start tasting the food as your making it and look at the ads and the actual product and think hmmmm how come the photo looks nice and seasoned and cooked and the actual shrimp looks like someone opened a frozen bag and threw them into some cruddy brown water to warm up and that was the entire cooking process.   this place is always so clean and fresh with the most hospitable staff. i’m always greeted with nothing but smiles. they have so many options; and queso + guac is free! you get a free drink with your student ID as well.

  I would like to leave a comment regarding the service at Qdoba. I am quite disappointed with the experience I had. I went to the location and there were employees present, but no one acknowledged me or even said “just a moment, I’ll be right with you.” One of the employees was assisting another customer, but at no point did she recognize that I was waiting. What bothered me the most is not just the wait, but the lack of basic courtesy. A simple acknowledgment makes a big difference. This is not the first time this has happened at this location, which makes it even more frustrating. I hope this issue can be addressed, as customers expect at least basic respect and communication.
