  Complete incompetence. And in most departments. They are consistently out of everything. They certainly don’t care about it. Many shelf items are expired. Along with some dairy products(see yogurt).And Most of the time it seems like you’re bothering the people that work there. I have been going out of my way to go to ShopRite a few towns over, I seldom come to Stop & Shop anymore unless it’s for an emergency. Avoid this location if you can. Quality is not their goal.

  Everyone is preparing for the upcoming storm and the store and parking lot is packed and some folks parked in the front of the store not blocking anyone and the store manager called to police to issue tickets on every car. Nice job accommodating the crowd that's supporting your store.

  I come here regularly so having to write this is disheartening but needs to be said on Monday January 19th 2026 MlK day approximately 4:20-5:30 I was sitting in the back of my mom car with my 4 year old brother when an employee black man with glasses crossed eyes came up to the car walking around looking in even pulled out his phone like he was going to take a picture of the licenses plate I was confused at first thinking he wanted me to move so I knocked on the window because my mother has the child lock on for the windows and doors so I couldn’t roll it down he didn’t respond look in nothing just walked away so I was like ok maybe it was a misunderstanding few minutes later 2 white employees one tall white man and a short white lady do the same thing me not really thinking anything of it my mom comes back out and tells me that they claimed a customer called the cops and said a child was in the car by themselves my mom let them know I was in the car with my brother then the employee switched his story telling my mom well I’m doing you a favor because your in the fire zone keep in mind there were multiple cars parked in the same zone the employee even interacted with a customer who was pulling up behind me in the same fire zone but didn’t say anything to anyone in those cars nor did he make an announcement for them to move. We went in an asked the employees at the desk where the customer was that claimed they called the police cause we’re waiting for them to arrive they still claimed they didn’t know but how is that possible for a big supermarket with all those cameras and I would like to point out prior to the first employee coming up to the car nobody and I mean nobody walked up to the car looked in or nothing only that first employee came up to the car and that’s when the accusations started. Then the lady at the desk said the guy who initially walked up to the car can’t see well so then why was he the employee you sent out to verify if a child was actually left alone in the car ? Do you know how dangerous and crazy it is to say as an employee or customer your going to call the cops for a FALSE CLAIM at no point did anyone actually try to verify if a child was actually left alone and all the employees can do is shrug there shoulders and act like they don’t know what’s going on I’m very disappointed as a customer truly the worst experience I’ve had at a supermarket ever.
