Super tasty Korean fried chicken — crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Portions are big, service is great, and the place has a nice, comfortable vibe. Prices are fair for what you get. Definitely coming back!

Honestly a really great place for Korean fried chicken. The chicken is super crispy, packed with flavor, and the portions are generous. It’s an easy go-to spot with friends when you’re craving something fun and filling.

This place is extremely overpriced for no reason. We got the rosé tteokbokki and it was around $30. The base tteokbokki is around $19, if you want rosé flavor, its an extra $6 and we added on ramen which was an extra $3. Tteokbokki is considered street food and its literally rice & fish cakes. And they give you 3 pieces of ginmari. No reason it should be $19. Then for rosé flavor, which is literally just adding heavy cream to the sauce, is an extra $6. Absurd. Then we ordered the 10 wing + 5 drumstick combo and we asked for half/half sauce assuming half of the 15 pieces are one sauce and the second half is another sauce. First off, they charge you $2 for sauce, which is fine but tell me why they charged us $2 FOUR times. So $8 total for sauce bc they separated the 10 wings into 5 and 5 and put one sauce each and they charged $2 each for that. And then they separated the 5 drumsticks into 3 and 2 and put one sauce each and charged $2 each for that. So total for 10 wings & 5 drumsticks was around $44. I’ve literally been to every korean fried chicken place on northern blvd and never have they separated the chicken like that and charged the sauces that way. Like why are you charging us for sauce 4 times when it is one single order of chicken. Never coming back here. Its a legit rip off. On top of that, they charge you for to-go containers, which is free at every restaurant. They just charge you exorbitant prices for literally every single thing here. We spent $85, not including tip, on tteokbokki, 15 pc of chicken & an order of fries. In response to the owners response: okay fine, the rose tteokbokki comes with onions, spam, and sausage. $30 is still excessive for that. And regarding the chicken, no matter how the chicken was split, its still 2 sauces. If your standard policy is $4 for 2 sauces per single chicken order, why were we charged $8 then? I’m fine with paying $4, but charging $8 to sauce 15 pieces of chicken makes no sense. The receipt had the sauce charge on there 4x.

Hands down one of the most authentic Korean meals I’ve had in NYC. I literally came here on a freezing, snowy day and still decided to take a taxi because the cravings were REAL — and it was 100% worth it. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside, the army stew was rich and comforting, and the seafood pancake was loaded with ingredients. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Even the makgeolli paired so well with the food. If you’re looking for real Korean flavors and not watered-down versions, this place is a must. I’ll definitely be back.
