  Kiosk order is not effective as staff is not sufficient enough with keeping track with customer orders. The so-called “skip the line” does not apply as I placed an order shopped for 10-15 minutes just for 1lb of cheese and the lady at the deli counter claims the receipt just printed.

  I primarily shop here to pick up groceries for my grandmother, as this is the only store she prefers. I place a pickup order through the app every Thursday. Unfortunately, the drive-up experience is consistently frustrating. The designated pickup spots are frequently occupied by shoppers who park there and go inside, and store management does not appear to enforce or deter this behavior. There have been times when none of the pickup spots were available because of this. Additionally, while the app includes an option to mark when I’ve arrived, I often still have to call the store to notify them, likely due to short staffing. While I understand staffing challenges happen, this creates an inconsistent and inconvenient pickup process. Additionally, when orders are brought out, I keep reusable box-style bags in my trunk for easy loading, but items are often placed around them instead of inside. This creates unnecessary inconvenience. I also inquired about opting out of paper bags, since I bring my own, but was told they are required to keep orders separated. In practice, this doesn’t seem consistent—items are often partially bagged or placed loosely, with some bags containing only one or two items. Other stores I shop at offer the option to use personal bags, so it’s disappointing that this location does not. Overall, the process feels disorganized and lacking coordination. I want to be clear that I don’t blame the staff, as they seem to be working within limitations set by management. However, these are solvable issues that would significantly improve the customer experience if addressed.

  For the second year in a row, I made the silly mistake of driving to Stop & Shop the day before St. Patrick’s Day and expect corned beef. Again, they are “sold out” as per a friendly employee who said “the management doesn’t order enough and they don’t care”. I wasn’t the only frustrated customer but I recognize my silliness in expecting them to have a fully stocked fridge. I don’t often go here because I find the parking lot chaotic and the layout is a bit unfamiliar but please GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER and order the food you need! ☘️
