  Gary the owner/manager has zero bedside manners ZERO customer service. I’m sure his staff works very hard. Called to inquire about having an event on a Saturday which he indicated was available. I advised which package I was interested instead of answering my question he asked additional details about the event, he suggested I have the event on another day. He even said it would be an up charge which is misleading from what the restaurant’s website indicates. Do not bother with this place.

  Great restaurant all around, I like to hang at the bar and eat it or have some drinks and apps. Awesome mid week prefix menu during.

  When there after a funeral...chicken was frozen and jar sauce...it was a fixed menu with beer and wine ...they had drink menus on the tables no beer on tables...make sure you check your bill...charged to set up room and said tip and tax included which the charged at end of bill...do not go there if having a party...manager not very cooperative. Who charges a set up fee and leaving 1/2 hour later.

  We celebrated my fiancé’s birthday dinner at Verona and had a wonderful experience, it was absolutely worth the drive from Queens. Our party of six thoroughly enjoyed the meal, atmosphere, and service. The service and hospitality from Madeleine were impeccable. She was incredibly attentive, bubbly, and ensured that our meals and overall service exceeded our expectations. We ordered from the prix fixe menu. I had the calamari appetizer, which was very good, and my fiancé had the baked clams, which he really enjoyed. For our entrée, we both ordered the rack of lamb and it truly melted in our mouths with every bite. Madeleine went above and beyond by kindly showing us their event spaces and providing helpful information about pricing and party options. She made us feel so welcomed, by the end of the night she honestly felt like family. It was a great family birthday dinner and we can’t wait to come back!

  Verona is a beautiful place with a warm atmosphere, friendly entertaining staff, and delicious food. We were there with family including my mother in law who has been recently widowed, it was nice to see her smile and enjoy herself again. This was in large part to the wonderful experience Verona provided. Especially appreciated Juan our friendly waiter, and the music of Charles Henry was fantastic. The experience was so nice we didn’t want to leave.
