I really wanted to love the new Cava in East Northport, but the experience was a letdown. We paid around $55 for three items—a chicken bowl, a spicy chicken and avocado pita, and a spicy lamb pita—and the portions were incredibly small for that price. While the sauces were delicious and the spicy chicken had good flavor, the lamb was mediocre and the service from Peter at the front was underwhelming. Compared to other local spots, this is a hard pass for the price. I won't be returning unless they start giving bigger portions or I have a coupon. It’s a shame because the flavors are there, but the value definitely isn’t.
The food has the flavor. But the staff is not friendly, I am a first time customer and they were not helpful, the environment they created seemed like they only wanted customers who know exactly what to order. The selection is are great, but the portions are extremely lacking, especially for the final price you end up paying.
This place has the potential, I hope it is growing pains since they are new. I really hope management enhances the customer experience by focusing on 1) customer service and 2) providing consistent and sufficient portions.

My girlfriend and I went to this location, The service was horrible! The Manager was unprofessional he doesn’t know how to run a team competently, his body language was horrible, I had seen a staff member make a mistake and the manager heavily sighed, as well walked away from the register while he was ringing out my order. He forgot to give me my drinks and when he did he gave me the wrong size. The staff doesn’t know how the food line is supposed to be run and the portions were just SOO sad. The service has to be fixed, the food was at best mediocre and over priced, $50 for 2 bowls and 2 drinks, might as well got to chilli’s across the street, or chipotle which is cheaper, better, and more flavorful. Overall, would not go again ! Sorry not sorry :(

Typically I visit the Cava in Huntington but i was extremely pleased to see they opened one closer to home. Location is designed much nicer than most in the area; definitely aesthetically pleasing. Staff were extremely personable & friendly. Portion sizes are reasonable with the cost of everything nowadays. Definitely will be returning.
We were so happy to see this new location open close to our home. But our first visit was disappointing. I've been to the other Long Island locations, and was very happy. This East Northport location is very cheap with their portion size. My bowl was only filled about half way. I even made a comment about it, but they just looked at me and ignored it. If the owner/manager of this place doesn't take this into account, I don't nt see them being there very long. If I'm going to spend $16+ dollars on a single salad bowl, I want to feel like I'm getting my money worth. So go here but only if you want to leave disappointed. Not sure I'll be back.
