We try our best to check each date of the product, but when we are in a rush and have a cart full of food, it can be easy to miss one. I also don't think that's something someone needs to do for every item they grab, especially ones that are right in the front of shelves? They aren't expired by a few days, either. They are months expired. It's been disappointing and just another step to add on while grocery shopping each week.

I went to buy butter and there was a sign on the store brand butter that said save $3.69 and then in small letters underneath is said compared to Land o lakes.So it was trying to mislead a hurried customer to think that it was on sale when it wasn't. I don't need the store to point out that the store brand is less expensive than the name brand.!!! Honestly???? And I HATE the self checkout! I feel like now I'm working for Hannaford. And only 2 checkout lines with clerks were open. I'm going to be shopping at price chopper.
