  Norbu offers delicious food with expert service in a charming atmosphere. Their Shorba Pea Soup is our favorite, along with the Baingan Bharta (roasted mashed eggplant) and the unbelievably good Zafrani Malai Kofta (paneer potato dumplings). It's worth a trip to Cooperstown just to eat here!

  We tried 3 different curry dishes- all decent but not spicy at all. Had some naan which were both amazing. And the honey chili fries were one of the best things ive tasted in awhile. Had a few drinks from the bar which were interesting. Cute place. Great service. Lots of food options. Kind of expensive. Overall we enjoyed it and will definitely go back next time without the younger kids. Nothing really for kids who are picky or bland eaters. The best option for them was the cheesy naan. But if your kids are familiar with these kinds of flavors its definitely got great choice.

  I never write reviews, but this place was fantastic. One of my favorite Indian restaurants I’ve been to in the United States. Only thing that could top it is homemade Indian food and even then it’s close.

  My husband & I had a delicious meal. Had leftovers that I’ll be having for dinner tonight. The waitstaff was wonderful. The fireplace helped us feel cozy during a late-winter snow.

  Norbu is one of the best—if not THE—best Indian/Himalayan restaurant I’ve ever dined at, and I’ve tried quite a few, on three continents. Some staples like a saag paneer felt completely new and fresh. The vegetable biryani offered a bouquet I had never experienced before. The decor was warm and elegant. Although we live far from Cooperstown, I’d consider visiting again for a special occasion.
