  So happy I discovered this place. Delicious Jamaican food made in the store and super friendly people. The large plates are easily 2 meals. Most people do take out but there are tables too.

  My experience at Nyamsum was great. The service is amazing, they are very polite. The portions are good and the jerk chicken and oxtails are amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Jamaican food or would like to try Jamaican food for the first time.

  I order the rasta pasta and oxtails online..went to pick it up from the hyatt,by the time I reach back to my room it was cold;what ever little sauce was in the container spilled out,for 23 I expected alot better,5 small oxtail nd the pasta was dry..the pineapple ginger,sorrel and carrot cake were good,but the food definitely could have been better!

  Ive been to many different Jamaican restaurants on Long Island and this place hands down has the best oxtail I have ever eaten. The staffs friendliness tops the experience. A+++, will be back here again for sure.

  Second time here, and the food was amazing both times. We ordered takeout on each visit, though we hope to dine in someday and enjoy the atmosphere as well. The staff was very helpful in explaining what came with the meals and the portion sizes, and we were greeted with a smile when we arrived and when we left. You’ll definitely see us again—thank you so much!
