My request to have my order reread was disregarded, and when I went to pay inside after the window was shut in my face, the manager showed no empathy or respect. Instead, I was told that I was in the wrong and accused of yelling. As a black woman, being told I was yelling felt incredibly insensitive and inappropriate. To make matters worse, they then threatened to call the police on me. They also stated that they couldn't be racist because they hire black people. I have this entire encounter on video and am morally upset by the way I was treated. I simply wanted to get food for my children, but the employees at this Taco Bell displayed a complete lack of respect for customers. This experience has deeply affected me, and I hope that Taco Bell takes action to address the behavior of their staff and ensure that no one else has to endure such disrespectful treatment.
