    I’m a delivery driver (Uber), and this is my third time picking up from the Stop & Shop delivery section and . I understand they usually have a lot of orders and only 3–4 people working, and I have no problem waiting when they’re busy. But the attitude and communication from the staff are consistently terrible. Every time I ask about my order, they say nothing except “we’re working on it.” No updates, no approximate wait time, nothing. Today I waited 35 minutes. When the fourth worker came out, I asked again how much longer it would be. He finally told me my order was 8 out of 9, meaning I still had a long wait. If they had simply told me that earlier, I wouldn’t have wasted all that time. I ended up cancelling the order. I’m not asking for special treatment — just basic communication and respect. A simple estimate like “10 minutes,” “20 minutes,” or “it might take a while” would make a huge difference. The lack of communication and attitude needs improvement.

    Very poor service when it comes to online pickup. They never answer when you call to say you’ve arrived and I always need to leave my car to go in store. Then wait around for someone to show up to get my items. Pickup is supposed to save me time there’s a fee associated with it. I’m spending just as much time going inside and waiting for someone.

    Parking lot too small, couldn't find a working shopping cart, ones you did find the wheels were locked up. Produce wasn't all that fresh, it's really hit and miss. Digital coupons didn't work properly. Had to go back to long customer service desk to adjust price.

    Horrible Customer Service at the Self check-out registers. On Monday , March 16th at approximately 4.50 pm, Jacqueline who was leading the Self Pay Registers had absolutely no considerations to help the customers. She was loud, and seemed too busy by chatting with other employees. When I got to the Self Check Out Register #10, I had asked her to help me with clipping ONE coupon ; and she right away rejected my request. I had to asked for her help in total of three times, which she had no hesitation of rejecting me… I ended up standing by myself at the self-check out register for some time- trying to figure out where I could cut one coupon for the Hellman mayonnaise, which was on sale. When I was unsuccessful in locating that only one coupon, I had reached out again for her help, which she didnt hesitate to reject me again… It was very obvious to me that Jacqueline had absolutely ZERO intentions of helping me. This whole situation could have been simply avoided if she would have been willing to help her customers. I felt extremely helpless, and unimportant. Therefore, I ended up asking her to make a final step for me -to void that Mayo bottle since I was unable to find that one coupon to clip… I had then processed on requesting her assistance thru the register; when Jacqueline came over to my register she didn't even look my way to try to help. Instead of finding a quick and easy solution, she then proceeded on voiding the item. I was not only speechless, but also very upset of such horrible Customer Service . What a horrible way to treat and to chase customers away! Jacqueline was extremely unprofessional, displayed a big lack of Customer Service skills, and was ignorant to any of my requests to help me out. From now on, I will definitely AVOID going to this location - Stop & Shop store on Ave Y is horrible!

    This review is for LIZ, the friendliest and most patient cashier I’ve encountered in a VERY LONG time. On a busy Saturday evening, with the line getting longer by the second, she addressed my individual situation with the utmost respect and professionalism! To the STOP and SHOP management…I certainly hope you recognize this gem of an employee and compensate her accordingly!!! 👏🏻👍🏻
