First off, happy hour every day from 4–8pm is clutch, especially in NYC. We started with hot sake and beers, and my friend had a margarita made by Chef Robbie that was really good. Food-wise, everything was solid. The miso soup was comforting, the Goku Dragon Ball sushi looked amazing and tasted even better, and the poppers were a standout, definitely order those. They also have omakase (15 or 20 courses) which I’m already planning to come back for. For my entrée, I got the teriyaki chicken, and it came out sizzling and full of flavor. Finished with tuna sushi and another round of drinks because… why not. Good vibes, great food, fair prices, and friendly service. If you’re in Brooklyn and looking for a chill sushi spot, this one’s worth checking out.
