- PCPeter CoatesJan 3, 20265.0I lived in the neighborhood for decades, but I've been away a few years. I loved the Beer Garage. Terrific bar-type menu. Great cheeseburger. The guy who served/ran the bar was excellent. Always ready to serve, but never annoyingly present. Loved the place--it's like neighborhood places used to be. And no overbearing music, which I despise. We were there a long time on a Friday night--I'm not sure why it wasn't packed, because it's about the size of a two car garage. I mean it's tiny. Highly recommend the burgers and the calamari. Great place to knock back a few pints.
