ORIGINS
Founder Raquel Furtado’s fascination with food started early in life. A native of Pantanal in tropical Brazil, she familiarized herself with medicinal plants, herbs and super foods, many of which could be found in her backyard.
Years later, after moving to New York, Raquel faced an illness and was forced to rethink wellness and nutrition entirely. She was curious to explore the powers of nature’s precious elements, and began creating recipes with ingredients that reminded her of home.
Many customers praised the delicious and healthy food options, particularly the açaí bowls and breakfast items, though some noted inconsistencies in taste and quality.
Service Experience
Feedback on service was mixed; while some found staff friendly and accommodating, others reported rude or unwelcoming behavior.
Pricing Concerns
Several reviews mentioned that the prices were high relative to portion sizes and quality, leading to mixed feelings about value for money.
Atmosphere
The café was described as cozy and inviting, with a pleasant atmosphere, although some customers experienced issues with cleanliness and service.

We spent a week in Brooklyn for our trip to America and went to this place several times for breakfast and some coffee. By far the best healthy breakfast place you can find in the neighbourhood. Very friendly, priced correctly, clean, thought out dishes and bowls, good coffee. Look no further!
