    I placed my order (via GrubHub) for an 8 piece chicken mix, but only received Wings and Thighs (the app did not indicate this or allow for customization). I also did not get a choice of what free soda to select (was just given a coke) A Krispy Krunchy 8-piece chicken mix typically includes 2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 legs, and 2 wings. Each piece is hand-battered and infused with the brand's Cajun marinade before being fried. • 2 chicken breasts • 2 chicken thighs • 2 chicken legs • 2 chicken wings This is what I expected, but did not receive. If I were to assume this were to happen, I would have indicated in the special instructions that I wanted an even mix of breasts, legs, wings and thighs (what is commonly included in a mixed order, unless otherwise specified). The order was placed early in the day (around 11am), so I cannot see running out of legs and breast so early. I also ordered the 3 piece Tenders with a Honey biscuit (The biscuit had no honey). Lastly, the delivery person didn't even ring the bell, so not sure how long was the food sitting in front of the apartment door. I hope Krispy Krunchy makes an effort to correct this service in the future, the chicken itself is our favorite in terms of flavor.

    Chicken sandwich is not as you would expected. Not a deep fried, craggly fried chicken breast or thigh, but a limp, squished meat chicken patty. Skip the chicken sandwich, fries are decent.

    I can deal with bad food, but what I can’t accept is dishonest people. Two strikes against this place and I will never step in that store again. 1- we were waiting for a bus. We asked if they could make a crispy chicken sandwich in under 5 min. The guy assured us yes and, this was my fault, I paid right away. It took 10 minutes and we missed the bus; I would have run out to catch it, but we already paid. 2- the crispy chicken sandwich ($7) is not what the picture showed. What you get is that cheap chicken patty you can get at Costco, a soggy burger bun, and two pickles on it. Borderline inedible. It must cost under a dollar to make. Their other stuff might be good, but I don’t trust this business.

    While the chicken was great and the red beans & rice were yummy, our order was supposed to include potato wedges and didn’t, the biscuits were not cooked and inedible due to rawness, and the Mac & cheese was disgusting. As excited as I was for KKC to open, I don’t think I’ll order again from this location :(
