They’ve gotten my order wrong every time and act with absolute disdain every time I order. One time I got delivery and they just didn’t put half the items. They act with impunity

I’ve lived just a couple of blocks from this Chipotle for nearly a decade, and unfortunately, the issues here have been consistent for years. My last visit was a good example of what to expect. It was later in the evening, and after ordering, I went to grab a fork only to find the utensil station completely empty. I asked a staff member at the counter, who was literally in the process of refilling the fork containers, if I could have one. He looked me in the eye and said they didn’t have any. I asked him “what are those” and, still looking me in the eye, he said “spoons”. Maybe that would play if I couldn’t see the forks right in front of me.
That level of dismissiveness was enough for me to request a refund.
This isn’t a one-off issue either. After 7 PM, they’re routinely out of ingredients, like cheese, for example. They’ll tell customers they don’t have any, but still have visible tubs of it in the mobile order prep line where staff are making take out orders. Rather than make it available for in-store customers, the staff often refuse to use it. It’s a recurring pattern of poor service and a lack of basic customer care. They seem to do this because they don’t want to have to prep again before the end of the shift, or apparently, refill the fork containers twice. They’d rather have you eat your salad with a spoon or pretend they’re out of lettuce or whatever.
Turnover here is incredibly high. Kids get hired, work a couple shifts, and quit, which unfortunately reflects in the overall experience. It’s often understaffed, service is inconsistent, and the dining area is typically dirty.
When this many staff members are disengaged it’s a clear sign of poor management. If I go to a chipotle, I’m not expecting a four star dining experience, but this place is unusually bad, so if you go here make sure you have low expectations.
