- CMChastity MichelDec 28, 20251.0I visited this Chipotle (86th Street between 3rd & 4th Ave) on December 28th at approximately 3:45 PM, and had a very disappointing experience. There was no line at all, and I was standing at the counter in the spot where you begin ordering your bowl. No one greeted me — not even a simple “hello” or “I’ll be right with you.” Multiple staff members saw me and didn’t acknowledge me. Then, two new customers walked in after me, and both of them were greeted immediately, while I continued to be ignored. I finally said, “Hey, hello, I’m waiting,” and the employee responded, “He’ll be with you in a minute.” The person who was supposed to help me then continued doing whatever they were already doing without looking at me, acknowledging me, or giving any update. After that, I walked out. Basic acknowledgement matters. Guests shouldn’t have to work for attention in an empty restaurant. I hope management addresses this, because experiences like this are discouraging and easily preventable. Especially for someone who was very hungry truly looking forward to enjoying a meal from Chipotle

When my husband decided to add an order of chips to his order at the last minute, both employees became visibly upset—even though the store was completely empty (we were thr only ones there) and it was still an hour before closing. To make matters worse, I was charged a full price for guacamole, yet the container was nearly empty and I was only given a small spoonful. This felt dishonest and disrespectful. Overall, the service was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. You can't complain in the website because there is not an option for it. Really dishonest policy in which you can't even complain about the service!!!
