The cherry on top was another staff member, who I suppose heard the conversation from the back (I never saw them), and shouted "Happy Birthday!" several times. I was in there for literally 2 minutes total, but the team's attentiveness, enthusiasm, and genuine kindness really made my day. Plus, the cookie was delish! I'll be back! Great job.
