There is a nice selection of freshly baked breads. There is a good selection of items in their menu. I got their French toast bagel toasted with cream cheese. The bagel was light, not your traditional bagel. But it was wonderful, crispy on the outside followed by a layer of French toast spices, then soft in the inside, and creamy with the cream cheese. Very good! I also ordered the cinnamon bun: it was not to my taste. I prefer mine soft and gooey with cinnamon, sugar, and butter. This cinnamon bun was crispy and the icing was dry and flaky. My friend got the Mulberry Street sandwich on ciabbatta bread. This place definitely knows how to bake breads! The chicken was tender- what a relief - so many places overcook chicken to be dry and taseteless. The coffees were good, nothing to rave or complain about. Overall, it's a very good place for breakfast and sandwiches. If you're looking to dine in, there are some stools inside, and in the summer there are a couple of small tables outside.

My friend and I were staying at a hotel nearby; we were feeling lazy and we wanted breakfast in bed! We found Brooklyn Bread Cafe and saw all of the crazy delicious looking options and we're sold immediately! She got the avocado smash on ciabatta and I got the deluxe go-to on an everything egg-bagel. STUNNING. What was delivered was EXACTLY what we were craving! So fresh and balanced in flavors. Also, a big plus is that everything was packaged super securely, we both got hot beverages and not a drop was spilled!!! I absolutely would get more from them.

I stopped by Brooklyn Bread Café on November 11 to pick up some pastries through Too Good To Go. I showed up three minutes before pickup time, showed my order on my phone, and they told me to wait a few minutes, fair enough. But about thirty seconds later, I got a notification that they’d canceled my order and would refund me. I get that cancellations happen, but: 1. Not two and a half minutes before pickup, when the customer is literally standing there. 2. The staff didn’t explain anything, they just told me to “wait,” then canceled behind my back. That’s rude. 3. It looked like they only remembered the order when I showed up and canceled it to save face. Basically, a customer comes in for pastries, and two minutes before the set time, you tease them with a “technically on time” cancellation. Not cool

Great popular bagel and sandwich shop in Park Slope. I tried the spicy tuna sandwich and it was excellent, staff was very friendly and to-go service is fast.
