  I’ve been shopping at this supermarket for about 30 years, but unfortunately the store and its management have really gone downhill lately. I’m not sure if there are new owners or new management, but it’s definitely not the same place it used to be. One of the biggest problems is expired products on the shelves. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve come home only to realize that something I purchased was already expired. It’s frustrating to have to go back to the store and explain this to the manager just to get it resolved. After happening multiple times, it really makes you question the store’s quality control. Another ongoing issue is the deli counter service. There are many times when no one is there, and customers have to wait 5–10 minutes just for someone to come take an order for cold cuts. On one occasion, I had been standing there waiting when the manager came out from a side room chewing on food. I told him I had been waiting about five minutes and asked if someone could help. His response was, “Ask one of the cashier girls, they’ll help you.” As a customer, I shouldn’t be told to go ask employees to do the manager’s job. Seeing how annoyed I was, he then said, “Never mind, I’ll do it.” The frustrating part is that all he really had to do was call the deli worker over the store speaker. On top of that, many of the products here are overpriced compared to other supermarkets in the area. It’s disappointing because this used to be a store I trusted and enjoyed shopping at for years. I hope management takes these issues seriously and works on improving product quality, managment and customer service.

  Unconcerned for senior citizens. If u don't spend $100.00 they will Not deliver my groceries. Outrages .. something has to be done about this

  Great neighborhood C-Town. The produce section is big and diverse — lots of fresh vegetables, greens, squash, and fruits beyond the basics. They also carry a good range of perishables and condiments for different ethnic cuisines, which makes everyday cooking easy. You see a lot of local neighbors shopping here, and it really feels like a community store.

  I would put zero stars if possible. They sell expired food and do price gouging which is kind of insane given how unsafe the food is there. Dont understand how they can stay on in this neighborhood and not be shut down.
