Aisles and aisles of products. My suburban New Jersey supermarket has one aisle for " international foods". I'm so jealous!

Selling expired food isn’t just careless, it’s a food safety hazard. When I called to flag it, staff casually said they don’t check for expired items. That’s outrageous. Especially if something is nearly 6 months expired. Wow! To make it worse, I was denied a refund because I didn’t have the receipt. Even though I had the card I paid with. In 2025, that is not an excuse. Luckily, the other items I purchased were in good standing as they were for the household. If this supermarket can’t maintain basic food safety or customer service, it shouldn’t be in business. This was my first and last time shopping at a stop and shop. I’ll gladly keep my business with Whole Foods Market where QUALITY is the STANDARD!!
