I guess it's because they're still in business in an area where pretty good mom & pop pizza shops are no more than 5 minutes in any direction. The staff seemed to take pride in the food they make, and that's likely their saving grace. It was clear some effort was put into how my items were made. It's just no comparison to Long Island pizza.
