  We ordered over $100 worth of food for takeout. The portions were ridiculously small. Food wasnt great. When we ate in the restaurant we got much bigger portions. Left hungry and dissapointed.

  I had an amazing experience at Maria's Greek Restaurant. The food was outstanding—rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. I ordered a beautifully braised lamb dish served over orzo, and it was absolutely perfect. The meat was tender, flavorful, and fell right off the bone, while the sauce tied everything together with deep, savory notes. To elevate the meal, I paired it with a glass of organic Malbec they offered by the glass, which complemented the dish perfectly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and sitting at the bar made it feel relaxed yet lively. Between the delicious food, great wine, and welcoming vibe, this is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re in Bayside and looking for authentic, satisfying Greek cusine.

  Loved this place! The server was very upbeat and polite. I went with my family and we all loved our meals and will definitely come back. I had grilled chicken and rice with veggies and it was scrumptious! Also the front was all open so there was nice breeze

Service at the restaurant was warm and attentive. That said, the parking situation was a bit off-putting. The website mentions free parking, but when I called to ask about it, the response was uncertain and ultimately dismissed—even after pointing out it’s listed online. It felt a bit inconsistent and could definitely be handled better. Overall, a solid spot for Mediterranean food in Bayside—just wish the details matched the experience a bit more seamlessly.
