  I was recently at this location and I was at self checkout. I had forgotten my credit card so I went to my vehicle to retrieve it. I asked the attendant (who was talking to another employee who I was told by the attendant was a supervisor this was around 6 to 7 pm in the evening.)to leave my things at the register since it wasn't busy there. I got my card and my merchandise were not removed ( 4 items) where I left it. I was ready to pay and I didn't see the option to select payment so I pressed the cancel icon and the light was flashing for an attendant. The attendant was still taking to the other employee so I moved to the adjacent register and then he comes over and told me to move back to the register I said no and I preceded to ring my 4 items up and he continued to asked . I had made a jesters with my hands that he was taking and not noting the light was flashing ( he was at the podium in self checkout and I was at the second to last register on the left hand side which was pretty close for him and the supervisor to see me and the flashing light. He called me confrontational and I said you are using the word incorrectly he told me to look it up and he told me his age (30) and he knew what the word meant. He was intimidating and started to complain to customers about me . I told this employee I didn't want to go back to the register that was blinking . I wanted to transact and leave as I have done in all the years I have gone to that location he made it unbearable and nerve recking to do a transaction. My transaction didn't end I ran into a problem with the self checkout register and I pressed the attendant button and he came and asked me what was wrong I said the credit card option didn't come up he said just put your card in and I said okay and he stood close to me and I said I'll do it and stood there and said he's going to stand there next to me just in case I had another problem while bad mouthing me to the customer to the left of me. I asked for a manager and he said maybe one will show up he pointed to the supervisor who was in the adjacent isle who was in ear shot of what was going on but he never intervened. It was very stressful to be there of all the years I have shopped at that location I have never ever encountered such an experience. I was asking for a manager because this employee seemed to be have some emotional break of some kind and I was a victim of it.

  There are many stop & shops in this world but there is none like this one. From the manager Brandon to everybody else , they care about people there it's like going to see family when we go shopping Devin and Ebberly praise The Risen Lord

  This is hands down the worst grocery store in queens. They are often out of stock of normal, every day items and they NEVER have enough registers open. They changed multiple registers to self check- out and will often leave only two open registers to check people out. In a neighborhood with a significant elderly population, this is a problem. I live down the block and will go out of my way to go to grocery stores in Whitestone and Douglaston.
