  Terrible service..Sat down for 20min bars not busy and got no hi or attention...they take care of their locals more than non locals

  When I tell u from the time u walk in it definitely gives u that New Orleans feeling i forgot we was in nyc lol ......Ok lets start with service if I could give 10 stars I would.......Thanks to Sal & my server Sophia u guys are truly the definition of great customer service I really hope u guys get the recognition just off this review cause u deserve it ! One thing I loved the most was that one of the owners G was walking around interacting with the customers which is a plus for me! Lets get to the food.....they have a pecan spread that comes with the basket of bread, crackers & corn bread OMGGGGGG ask for extra cause babyyyyyyy I think that was the highlight of my night! For appetizers we ordered the crab cakes & teriyaki wings PERFECTION is all Im goin to say (make sure u add that to ur bill & thank me later) For entrees I ordered the seafood gumbo & my boyfriend ordered the skirt steak I would like to Thank the Chef because u did not disappoint! If ur looking for a great date night, great food, lovely ambiance & great service this is it!!!!! Thank You so much Bourbon Street for an excellent first time experience, I will be telling all my friends about this place & I see why u guys are goin viral on social media sorry guys I forgot to take pics of the entrees lol

  Had to put together a holiday dinner and drinks for coworkers last minute and even though the 2nd floor and roof were booked they blocked off a section on the first floor to accommodate us for the night. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere were amazing and I got a lot of compliments from everyone who attended. But all the credit goes to the staff who walk you through process and picking the menus and doing what they can to make sure your event goes smooth. Good was amazing especially the wings and skirt steak!

  It was easy to make a reservation although I don't require. I don't think it was absolutely necessary for the time. I went on the day that I went, which was Thanksgiving Day 2025 at 6:45 in the evening. The hostess, she was very kind and helpful, and she sat me quickly. Not to mention, she is very pretty. The establishment was quiet. I like that it was easy to sit and think about my day and the days that I have ahead of me while I'm here visiting Bayside Queens New York. I'm here for the holidays and I have been enjoying getting to know people around the area. I should have taken a picture of the outside of the Restaurant. I will have to add it later. I have been living a sugar-free lifestyle I am currently 99% Carnivore. With this being said, I'll get into this review. I sat at a small table that would accommodate to guess. And the server approached me quickly inquiring as to what I would want to drink right after he greeted me. And welcomed me to the establishment. I like to drink water and occasionally. I enjoy unsweet iced tea which I asked for both From the table that I was sitting at, I could see the bar. I could see the TV monitors above the bar All the tables in the room that I was in were now full including mine obviously With me sitting there. The menu has a good selection of salads sandwiches to include burgers steaks. They have quite a selection of alcoholic beverages, but they have plenty of beverages for those who are not alcoholic drinkers. For me it was easy.I love ribeye steak cooked medium rare. So that is what I ordered. The waiter did not tell me that it came with two sides and I did not see that description on the menu. Had I been told or asked what sides I wanted? I would have chosen to order the steak without any sides. When the plate with my steak what's placed on the table in front of me? There was Green Beans and mashed potatoes. I explained to the server that I don't eat potatoes for one sugar makes me sleepy. Starchy, foods make me sleepy. Potatoes are full of starch. I stopped eating potatoes because they give me indigestion several years ago, so I would have preferred to be informed that the steak came with mashed potatoes, and the Green Beans at the time I placed my order. I know that for other people this 2 sides would have been perfect. I did end up eating the green beans. They looked bright green, which is rare at restaurants. Most people over cook vegetables. At this facility the Bourbon Street Bar and restaurant those green beans were crisp,crunchy fresh. Excellent green beans, which I used to love to eat regularly. As far as the potatoes, I just scraped them to the side and ignored them. When the the dish was placed before me. I tried to explain to the server that I didn't order. The vegetables that all I ordered was the steak. He indicated to me that he could have them. Removed from the plate which I was perfectly okay with. And I explained to him that that would be okay, but he seemed to be struggling with understanding why I did not want the vegetables at that moment. It seemed to be more difficult to have him. Pick up the plate, take it back to the kitchen. Kitchen and put my steak on a different plate and return it to my table. So I just said, leave it, I'll eat what I want. And leave the rest. Overall, my experience was very pleasant. I enjoyed the steak and I enjoyed the green beans. The iced tea was good. The water was room temperature.It lacked ice. I like ice cold water better than lukewarm or room temperature. Unfortunately, no one ever offered to refill my iced tea. When I finished the first glass. I wasn't offered ice for my water either. This is the 1st time I have been to a restaurant and not served water with ice in it. As well as no refills for my Ice Tea. I would recommend people to visit this establishment. They have more than one server. The menu has a good selection. The quality of the food is top-notch. This, to me, is a negative in the quality of service. And that is why for the service. I could not give them a full 5 stars.
