They DID NOT participate in #LIPizzaStrong - which is a fundraiser to support local law enforcement who were killed in the line of duty. I called today because I wanted to show support, but I asked the guy who answered if they are part of the fundraiser, he put me on hold… I heard him ask the other guy "he wants to know if we're doing some donation thing."
Than a Spanish guy answered the phone I asked him again, "yeah we are" he said. I specifically asked again if this was about the NCPD cop Patty and he said he'll call me back....he never called me back. There were 307 pizzerias who joined this cause and 3 from outside NY, a local pizza place in a prominent BLUE town to blow it off is crazy. Just on that principle I won't be giving them anymore business. Eat at the Pizzeria, they are true Americans!!

Took over 35 minutes to have 4 slices heated up, and had to ask about where they were. We were given 2 different stories including they forgot to heat them up and they're super busy so it's taking that long. When we were finally brought our slices they were all cold and had to ask for them to be reheated AGAIN. Quality decreases each time we come.

Tried to take a bite of my slice and all the toppings fell of. It was literally a cheese pizza and they just threw the toppings on top. Worst pizza ever. I’m from Texas and I thought I would get a good pizza before I head back and worst experience. Also the employee who I spoke to was extremely inconsiderate when I called. Mind you I was nice and he said call DoorDash and get a refund with them. Horrible service

The food is outstanding and so is the staff. Pizzas can’t be beat and we just had sausage and peppers which were so delicious.

Last time I went to Satellite Pizza was literally, last century. I was quite surprised to see, what used to be a pizza joint, grow into such an impressive dining environment.
With an affordable upscale menu and a pleasant cocktail bar, the image of what the pizza joint used to be can not be compared to what it is now—an effortlessly polished milieu. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza joint still there and so is this bistro.
Now, onto the food. I love the authentic Bolognese sauce, so that’s exactly what I went for. However, even though the dish that was served was delicious, it was not a Bolognese.
Unlike most traditional Italian sauces which are tomatoes forward, the Bolognese is a meat forward sauce made with wine and milk or cream—and some chefs will even give it a different twist and use condensed milk. The idea is to downplay the acidity by elevating the sweetness of Italian tomatoes in a minimalistic way. But at Satellite, the cream or milk in their version was hardly enough to create a distinctive taste. For me, it was more of a Rustica-inspired tomato ragu rather than the unequivocally iconic, signature sauce from the city of Bologna.
We were a table of three. In my humble opinion, the other two dishes, fell short of expectations. The Shrimp Scampi, was the least appreciated entree. The shrimp was translucent and yet, way overcooked. However, the Chicken Sorrentino was enjoyed by the other two guests.
As previously mentioned, the price point is worth re-iterating. At Satellite you can enjoy a highly elevated dinner at a lower price point you would encounter at a diner. Really… I kid you not.
