Waited 15+ minutes to even talk to an employee at the drive through, wanted to go inside but doors were locked 2&1/2 hours before closing

I’ve been living in Ballston Spa for the past 20 years and this McDonald’s has always been one of the worst I’ve ever been to. That being said, these last few visits in the past six months has just been intolerable. Items missing from orders through the drive-through, food not prepped correctly, cold fries, and overall Customer Service is just the absolute worst. I don’t know who runs this place or who the GM is but it is the absolute worst McDonald’s I have ever been to in my 50+ years of existence on this planet. Seriously. Have some pride in your business and how you operate. Train your people better. This has nothing to do with the kids working there it is the people that run it. Hire the right people and train them better or don’t be in business. If you want McDonald’s, go to Malta. It’s worth the drive.

Impossibly slow. Cannot accept DoorDash deliveries at this location, it will ruin my night every time. I’m sitting in line now at 10:16 for an order that was due at 10:09. I’ve been here since 10:06 and not one car has been served. Sitting here losing money. Don’t accept deliveries from this location.

We waited 35 minutes. Nothing. Tried to cancel but was told we couldn’t after 20 minutes. Tried to cancel- had to speak loudly to try to get someone to talk to. Nothing. GM came out and yelled at us. Said we mistreated staff. Staff we didn’t get to even acknowledge us. She yelled- Repeatedly, loudly. Didn’t care, didn’t try to help. Just told us off. Hopes we never go back.
She did refund us our money. After other girl said they couldn’t.
Kitchen was obviously struggling and GM never came out to help them.
A first in my 68 years!!

I honestly don’t understand how a place that calls itself “fast food” can be this slow. I waited 30 minutes just to get my order, which completely defeats the purpose of going to a fast food restaurant in the first place. The whole experience showed how poorly this place is managed.
To make it even worse, after already waiting forever, they had me pull up to the second window just to wait for drinks. Drinks! That’s probably the easiest thing on the menu to make, and somehow that still wasn’t ready. It felt like nobody knew what was going on or how to keep things moving.
The management here seriously needs to step it up. If customers are waiting half an hour for basic orders and drinks, something is clearly wrong behind the scenes. Fast food should be fast, not a long, frustrating wait in the drive-thru.
Really disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back unless they figure out how to run the place properly.
