  It's a McDonald's. It sells overpriced mediocre fast food and that's exactly what you want from it.

  Says open 24 hours. I work late shifts and odd hours. Only restaurant apparently open. They refuse to answer the window at weird hours when people are inside. Waste my time more. I will keep coming back and complaining. Sat at window Monday 12/8, I even pulled up to the drive-through window and the clearly saw me. Very unprofessional they cannot even answer the window to tell me to wait, but ignore the customer. Also two people inside working by the way. Mcdonalds is proving to be un reliable at odd hours unlike they used to be known for. Sad times we live in with bad quality service.

  When coming to Amherst and wanting McDonald's, I recommend this one, 3400 Sheridan Dr. As far as food quality McDonald's is McDonald's. This one I would say has above average waiting time during peak times and the staff is diverse, mostly friendly and more focused than other McDonald's around the area seems to be which is a major plus. The building went through repairs and a makeover in recent times which does bring a more focused and cafe "vibey" atomsphere to the place, so when going inside to eat, order or if you do uber eats or doordash or grubhub, it can be a calling presence. They have plenty of parking spots, but sometimes they can get overwhelmingly busy inside and outside at the same time, which can cause an issue parking. The store is upkept on an above average level, so you not walking into one of those restaurant where the floor is sticky and you not sure if your stepping on something that was genetically mutated like other restaurants. Overall I like this McDonald's the best in the area and its 24/7, so you can always pull in for something to eat. Just remember around 3am-4am they get ready to switch their system to breakfast you'll only be able to pay cash or go through mobile order.
