This location is always out of main ingredients for sandwiches. I’ve ordered twice and the first time they were out of ham, the 2nd time they were out of chicken. Recommend ordering from somewhere else if you use Uber Eats or order online.

Bottom Line: I would never recommend getting food from this location and I will never get food from this location again - there is a reason it's currently tied for lowest reviews of all the capital region Jimmy John's stores. Previously I have placed orders here and have received sandwiches with browning lettuce and what tasted like stale bread, on top of poor customer service with delayed orders. So, I decided to get my wife and I lunch and drove out of my way to go to the Guiderland JJ's store, which has historically been excellent, placing the online order in the parking lot. It was a re-order from a prior meal that was unfortunately at this location in Albany. After placing the order I immediately (within 10 seconds) realized what had happened and called the store (order submitted 1:33 PM, first call placed 1:34 PM). The call rang and rang - eventually I hung up and kept calling - after a number of minutes someone answered and told me I needed to cancel on the app. However, while waiting for the call to answer I had checked the app and then the JJ's website which showed no way to cancel on the app and directed to call the store. I told them there's no way to do that and they said they couldn't cancel the order because they didn't know how and there was no manager at the shop. No manager at the shop, none - apparently. While it was my fault for re-ordering something that had unfortunately been placed at that shop, the corporate website directed that you could cancel the order and further - I called the corporate line and they confirmed this was the case that I could cancel with the shop and NOT on the app. So, I ordered the meal at the Guiderland store and figured because there was no manager at that shop that I could sort it out with the owner later. BOY was that NOT the case. Jimmy John's corporate alerted the owner and I got a call while I was on a work meeting - so I called back and left my number. I never received a callback after that and alerted corporate. I said that I didn't want to incur their business the cost of a credit card charge back and just wanted to get this figured out. They told me they asked them to reach out to me again. I gave them three complete business days to call again - NOTHING. So, as unfortunate as it is, I was forced to request a charge back from my credit card company and leave a review for any other would-be customers of this store to let them know what they may encounter if they choose to do business here. Extremely sad that the franchisee couldn't be bother to resolve a customer issue and instead allowed the Jimmy John's Brand to be connected with this gross incompetence. They don't care about their business and based on the way they handled this event, they obviously don't care about their customers.

This location goes above and beyond. We ordered from them earlier today a decent size order, well the Uber driver opened the bag and stole some of the subs. I after calling and having a very well received conversation with the manager very kind lady I went up and picked up the missing subs. We both contacted Uber customer support hopefully this driver gets 86'd this way no one else orders gets stolen. Apparently this has been an ongoing issue with this specific delivery driver. However the staff at the New Scotland Jimmy John's location was very professional and kind both on the phone and in person. I would highly recommend them. In my 20+ years of going to Jimmy's John's I've never had an issue with any locations. But this location without a shadow of a doubt went above and beyond.

Went in for dinner, late night with an acquaintance and this restaurant is on the Albany Hospital grounds so thats their primary clientele. First impression upon homeless y panhandlers bumrushing you before you even get outta your car is a turn off. The quality of food is not fresh as one might expect, as well very bland. It was my first y last time I would cater to this establish. The dining room was a very cold uninviting steel grey with bold red lettering. The girl working was working alonne and breaking down the stations abd prepping for the next day. She was by herself so she wasn't the most attentive and wasn't helpful in answering anything about the sandwiches on the menu and we had to yell our orders as she was all over the place (meaning running to the back constantly...) . Plus the quality of the food I personally didn't think was worth the price for what the sandwich was I ordered yet I understand their high end location comes at a premium so they have to have high profits (i use to co-own 2 Quiznos so Im basing it of that).
