First, I want to acknowledge and concede something. This chipotle is situated at a very busy area, between albany med, albany law, and acphs. It is not unreasonable for it to look perhaps not the tidiest as a result of this. As a busy woman, sometimes I just need a nice corporate slop bowl, and I am willing to look past it. I'm not the tidiest person either, so I get it. I don't know why the drink and napkin station is always depleted, but i'm normally willing to chalk that up to constant customer traffic flow. As long as I get my matte, flavor enhancing fork, I'm happy.
However, I recently had an extremely harrowing experience. After a long day at the word document factory a few weeks ago, I simply wanted a chicken bowl for myself, nothing more, nothing less. I go on line, and order my meal. At this point, I pay for my meal. For some reason, the cashier had me put my card in twice, which was strange. I later check my bank statement because I had a hunch....and I was proven right. I WAS CHARGED FOR THE MEAL OF THE PATRON IN FRONT OF ME IN ADDITION TO MY OWN! I was very disappointed in this, not only because it's not right, but I didn't even get the reward points out of it. (the food was fine but that was not an issue)
Since I knew the timeframe, and the amount I was wrongfully charged, I thought a simple phone call would remedy the situation. I tried calling this location to work this out human to human, but my call went unanswered. I was then routed to a corporate line, and I had to painstakingly explain my situation. My colleagues saw me on the phone and thought something had gone horribly wrong. Luckily the situation got resolved and I received my refund, but the aggravation almost made the refund not worth it.
The food tastes pretty good, but it's chipotle, it's hard to mess it up that bad. I'll probably be back, but I think I'll keep my head on a swivel. Also the parking situation is cluttered, to say the least.
