This safeway only fills prescriptions if your doctors lives/works locally. They are stuck in the past and I will not sure this pharmacy because of that. Medical care is already expensive enough. If you try to save some money and TIME using virtual doctors this pharmacy won't fill the prescription. Very useless tbh, get with the times or continue to lose money.

Made the mistake once again of coming in early in the morning (6am). I can deal with leaving the buggy at the end of the aisle and stepping over boxes and stretching to grab what I need because the store needs to be stocked. I can ignore that the bakery is empty again (you would think you could count on a 24 hour store having a stocked bakery in the morning). The frustration grows as I arrive to the ONE cashier who isn't stationed at self checkout like any normal store but in a lane so that your checkout takes 10 times longer. So while I'm waiting in line I remember that I have $5 left on a digital gift card. I'll pull that up while I'm waiting. My turn and she rings up my order. I display the QR code and say I want to use the rest of this gift card. She asks "what is that"? A gift card. "Safeway"? Yes. "You need to print it". I need to print a digital gift card with a QR code? Then I have a flashcard sized laminated "policy" tossed at me. Needless to say you can keep your groceries and you can keep your $5. Save Mart is right across the street and their self checkout will be open. I don't need to start my day off with a crabby cashier. I would have left a 1 on the store survey on the keypad but your cashiers usually get to those before the customers.

I think Safeway's store is so expensive. I had to go there for a couple of things which I will never go back again. The produce section was very nice, but outrageously priced when I went up to the check stand. There was no one there to help me. They were all stocking things on the shelves. I waited for a couple minutes, and I finally saw someone go up to the front. I don't do self, check out.\n So that's why I was waiting I don't know how anyone could afford to shop here. There was hardly anyone in the store.I think about 3 people.I do not know how this story stays in business.Especially these days.
