I was doing 2 Safeway orders at once. I had already picked up my first order then called the number for pickup and she informed me it’ll be a 20 minute wait. Since I already had another customers order in my car (which contained dairy) I informed her I was unable to wait for that time. I politely told her I had to unassign the order and another dasher would pick it up. I then thanked her for her time anyways. Then her response was “well that has nothing to do with us but okayyy” in the rudest tone imaginable when I was nothing but kind and honest to her. Train people to be nicer over the phone I was already having a bad day and didn’t need that treatment from a worker.
