  When two middle schoolers come and ask to put a table outside your store so they can take donations for homeless veterans as part of their passion project.....you say "that is great, how can we help?", not ....no we cant cause the big store director is off and we can't make a decision.....

  Seriously looking for a new gracery store even though Safeway is a couple block from home....the produce bags are garbage and most of them break causing the produce to fall to the floor. The produce is often sparse and not fresh. The prices have gotten way too high.

  As someone who has shopped here frequently because of how close it is to home, I am only getting more and more disappointed. Most of the employees I encounter are very kind, even when I have to go shopping late at night after work. However, I've been going in earlier and I'm shocked to see a big difference. I was getting help from one employee when another employee named Elizabeth interrupted our conversation, spoke rude to the person who was helping me, and did not even acknowledge I was there. That was only the most recent interaction! I've gotten to know some of the Safeway employees since I'm there so often, and I've heard the same Elizabeth speaking down to them when I've always known them to be kind and helpful. My spouse told me he tried asking Elizabeth for help once and she told him no very rudely. I try to be very understanding of employees but no one else at the store has been rude to us that many times.

  I shop here on a regular basis. Or I used to. However, this store is consistently out of products or products are still on the shelf long past their expiration date. I am considering not shopping here any longer, due to the fact that this store is not the cleanest. I have watched many dogs do their business in the store, and it is often left there for sometime. The other problem is the high schoolers that come and disrupt this store. Recently a gang of high schoolers decided to instill a fight among themselves along with destroying the floral section and then proceeded to steal many items. I talked to a clerk about this and they told me that corporate will do nothing about these issues. I am a senior and for me this store has become a scary place to shop.

  Beautifully laid out store with great lighting and plenity of shopping room so you don't feel crowded and lots of good shopping carts that roll perfectly. Just be careful when picking out donuts mine seem to be day old and dried out when I got home to have one with my morning coffee I had to heat it up in the oven to make it edible, but they still had a bit of chemical taste in them. Oh well it could just be me and my taste buds. They did look perfectly delicious and fresh looking in the store so I would suggest they you give them a little bit of finger pressure to make sure they are not as hard as a rock and also if you want a jelly donut make sure there is some weight to it or you may end up with one like I did with no jelly just a tiny dab of raspberry color but no jam.
