Must-go restaurant brought by owner Sergio and 5-star culinary experience by Chef Orlando!! Undeniably a bold, creative global fusion with influences of Mexico/Spain/Asia/Italy - attempted by many but mastered by few, if any! My favorites were the Spanish Charcoal Octopus with grilled guajillo salsa, potatoes, Spanish chorizo, garlic aioli and black garlic aioli -outstanding, it reminded me of being in Madrid when I was there a month ago, and the Black Angus Ribeye Tacos, authentic Mexican tacos with salsa abuelita would make! At least one more dish I’d recommend, although the Vodka Rigatoni and La Condesa Carbonara were very delicious too, the Pork Belly Bao Steam Buns - incredible as well! This is the spot for foodies from all around the country!! This experience was also made special from the service and smile from Alina, who also as gave us great recommendations and was incredibly fun!! Memorable night - thank you again to the amazingly talented Chef Orlando and enchanting server Alina!!! Un placer!!!

Let’s start with the flavors—simply put, this is hands down the best restaurant in Reno. The tacos, the calamari, the bao… do not skip the bao. Even if you hate mustard, order them anyway. You won’t be sorry.
Alina, our server, went way above and beyond, and Orlando came out to personally greet us and walk us through the food, which made the experience even more special. This is honestly the best meal we’ve had in Reno—not just because of the food, but because of the care behind it.
The restaurant itself is stunning. It feels like having dinner inside an art exhibit—the music, the murals, the atmosphere all come together perfectly. Every detail feels intentional, creative, and elevated without being pretentious.
This isn’t just a place to eat; it’s an experience. We will absolutely be back. If I could give more stars, I would. Coming from Chicago—one of the best food scenes in the country—this restaurant would easily rank in the top 10. The only thing missing is La Condesa itself

The food is good but it’s pricey. What’s unfortunate is we live in Reno and have been here frequently and the service is 90% of the time mediocre, at best. We went there last week and the service was even worse. I get that people are stressed and over worked, so I don’t expect a lot, but when there are four patrons in the restaurant and the two of us are of out of the four it shouldn’t be that hard. Our food sat for 10 minutes before it was brought to our table. I understand when a restaurant is busy, but when there is full staff and no customers, what is the hold up? I say this because when we entered the restaurant there was one waitress/bartender and she was able to handle the 3 (bar) patrons in the restaurant efficiently. Yet, this was a fully staffed restaurant and we didn’t get our food when it was ready, we couldn’t even get adequate to go boxes, and our check out was not in a timely manor, and sadly we didn’t even get a have a nice evening. I came to the conclusion that the restaurant/waiters don’t need or want our business. Unfortunate.

The ceviche was unbelievable, definitely the best thing we ordered overall. The entrees and other appetizers were 4/5 but the service wasn’t the best.
Nice twist on pork belly bao, an open concept— like a taco! The pizza had great flavor, but definitely not enough sauce. Lamb gnocci was delicious!
Waited 20 minutes for anyone to stop by our table, 20 minutes for 3 cocktails. We had to wait a long time (10-15min) to get pepper to our table as well. Pretty unresponsive service for what we expected with an expensive menu.
2 entrees 2 appetizers 2 cocktails & 1 beer; 170$ with tip!
